Meyer Bosman will start as flyhalf for the Cheetahs for their clash with the Force in Perth, a warm up for the upcoming Super 14.

The two newcomers to the competition square off in a game that has some questioning the travel implications for Rassie Erasmus’ side.

Travelling to Perth so soon before the tournament is hardly ideal, but Erasmus believes that this is a positive as some of his squad have never been to Australia.

Bosman is partnered by fellow Bok Michael Claassens at halfback, and Kiwi Keith Lowen makes his debut at centre with Gaffie du Toit beginning his career as a Cheetah in jersey 15.

Kabamba Floors’ superb performance against the Spears means he retains his spot at 6, alongside captain Juan Smith and the reliable Ryno van der Merwe.
