Bumbling Brumbies

A year hasn’t changed much for the Brumbies. The Canberra boys are still being bullied by the Sydneysiders.

On Saturday, 2005 beaten finalists the Waratahs comfortably dealt with the Brumbies in a pre-season match in Wollongong.

The Waratahs won 21-5, with flyhalf Tim Donnelly enjoying the occasion more than most. Donnelly scored a try and kicked three conversions.

Agency reports focused on the return of Wallabies No 8 David Lyons.

The Waratahs led 21 nil at halftime and there was no scoring in the match in the last 36 minutes.
