A year hasn’t changed much for the Brumbies. The Canberra boys are still being bullied by the Sydneysiders.
On Saturday, 2005 beaten finalists the Waratahs comfortably dealt with the Brumbies in a pre-season match in Wollongong.
The Waratahs won 21-5, with flyhalf Tim Donnelly enjoying the occasion more than most. Donnelly scored a try and kicked three conversions.
Agency reports focused on the return of Wallabies No 8 David Lyons.
The Waratahs led 21 nil at halftime and there was no scoring in the match in the last 36 minutes.

Whitaker retired from test rugby yesterday. Will play out the S14 with the Tahs
