Bok flyhalf arrested

Andre Pretorius was arrested and charged with drunken driving early on Saturday morning.

The Cats No 10 was in Main Road, Bryanston in Johannesburg, when he crashed into another car just after 1am. He was arrested and charged, as was the other driver.

Police spokesman Captain Schalk Bornman said the two men were taken to Randburg police station and later released on R500 bail each.

“Both were booked for drunken driving and will appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday,” he said.

Bornman said it was likely their cases would be postponed pending the finalisation and receipt of blood tests taken after the accident.

Good to see that his rehabilitation program is comming along so well. Staying home, eating right and a dedicated work out program. It kind of reminds me of Jonny Wilkinson’s shoulder injury he got right after the world cup that started his long string of sick notes. It was also a car accident.
