De Marigny dumps Bristol

Italian international and former Sharks flyhalf Roland de Marigny kicked 16 points to ensure Leeds a much needed win in the Premiership.

De Marigny, out of favour with Pierre Berbezier’s Italian national squad, slotted in for Scottish international Gordon Ross and excelled in the 26-16 win against an equally desperate Bristol.

Former All Blacks scrumhalf Justin Marshall was the big star of the Leeds win and the architect in his team getting their fifth Premiership home victory in their last seven games.
