Willem Stoltz, red carded in the Cats Vodacom Super 14 win against the Chiefs, was found not guilty of malice in kicking a player.
A SANZAR judicial committee on Saturday cleared Stoltz to tour with the Cats. The judicial committee met at Ellis Park Stadium to view video material. The committee chairman asked the presenter, Gabriel Pappas and the referee, Stuart Dickenson to view the video material. Pappas informed the chairman that the referee was satisfied that Stoltz was not involved in the incident and found him not guilty.
All of which asks why he was ever sent off in the first place?
