Boks blow it

Wales scored three tries in the last two minutes of the Plate final to beat the Boks 29-28 at the Commonwealth Games Sevens.

Tobela Mdaka and Fabian Juries both scored two tries as the Boks appeared to be crusing towards victory. However, the Welsh saved their best for last and pipped the Boks with three late tries.

James Hook, Jonny Vaughton, Tailesin Selley, Gethin Williams and Rhys Oakley scored Wales’s five tries.

Earlier in the day the Boks crashed out of the Medal race when they lost to hosts Australia 20-14.

Not even a bronze medal! Sies! But those Bok sevens look very “transformed” don’t they?

Maybe the powers-that-be can “transform” that SA Olympic and Commonwealth Games mens’ swimming team from gold medallists to also-rans just as easily?

Yet another SA rugby team come a shabby cropper by trying to sit on the cushion of what seems as a comfortable lead and defend it, rather than to go flat out all the way and add to their score right up to the final whistle!

Your references to the race of the players in the 7′s team is offside. Those were the best players available for 7′s duty. the Super 14 franchises weren’t going to let their star players play fo the Bok 7′s with the disaster that is the SA Super 14 campaign. In fact the 7′s team was weakened when its star player, Kabamba Floors, received a permanent spot at the Cheetahs.

They were the BEST players available?

    And you actually believe that?

I have 20kg of genuine green cheese cut from the surface of the moon. It’s for sale at US$ 500 000 per kay-gee. A bargain price. Are you interested?

fecking hell tickler, just count your lucky star that your new adopted island doesnt have to contend with the serious issues as the saffas. If ever a truce is called in SA i’ll bet you my bottomm dollar that neither the kiwi;s or the ozzies will be able to withstand the guts, talent, pride, sportsmanship and WILL TO SURVIVE of the saffas
