The rubble Reds are in big trouble ahead of their opening Vodacom Super 14 match in South Africa.
The Reds play the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein and will have to do without their inspirational fullback Chris Latham, who was injured in the Commonwealth Games.
The Reds have just one win in the tournament and are unlikely to get many more in South Africa. Their form has been poor and there isn’t much in the Reds team to trouble any of the South African sides.
Ben Tune will get his first start for a season at outside centre, while exciting Wallabies utility back Drew Mitchell starts at fullback.
The talented Berrick Barnes is back at flyhalf, replacing Elton Flatley, who retired from rugby earlier in the week.
