Force not with Wikus

Cats captain Wikus van Heerden will not play in the Vodacom Super 14 match against the Western Force at Ellis Park on Friday night after failing a fitness test on Tuesday.
The Cats missed the tireless flanker’s presence in the match against the Bulls and will have their work cut out without him against the ever-improving Force outift. A loss for the Cats will see them leap-frogged into last position on the log.
Van Heerden has not recovered from a niggling knee injury and his place is again taken by Cobus Grobbelaar, while the only change to the match 22 is on the bench where prop Bertus Smit comes in for veteran Marius Hurter who picked up an injury against the Bulls.
Hooker Delarey du Preez will be pleasantly surprised that the Wallaby hooker Brendan Cannon has been ruled out injured for the Ellis Park clash. A mighty performance is required if the Cats are not to suffer their tenth loss in 11 matches this season.

Replacements: 16 Willie Wepener, 17 Bertus Smit, 18 Alten Hulme, 19 Willem Stoltz, 20 Jano Vermaak, 21 Wayne Julies, 22 Wylie Human.

its official Ludeke is the most arrogant, stupid coach ever. how on earth he picks the same team that has no direction beats me. somebody needs to beat the sense in him. Play Swartbooi, Molefe and Daniels you **** head and you will see results. i think we a aupposrtes should boycott this match its really ridiculous. Ludeke is a clown.

Yes I read the article and we all agreed (even Ig and Keo) that the occasional profanity in moments of extreme emmotion is quite acceptable on this site. At this risk of repeating myself, this is not a kids site and if you’ve ever been to a live rugby game, I’m sure you’ll understand that the occasional profanity goes hand in hand with the sport. So take the dummy out your mouth and that carrot out of your *** – you doos!!!

it doesn relly matter who ludeke plays at this stage. its become like an u14H team, you know youre gonna lose so u mite aswell give evry1 a run. let swartbooi and daniels and molefe and any1 else with a contract get a go. they need the experience, maybe it’ll benefit them in the long run. but why play the sam eguys as last week, was he impressed by there performance, has it reached the sad stage when you just say thats the best we can deliver, so we’ll give it week in and wek out until the misery is over. get creative ludeke, u’ve lost. stop thinking about now anfd build for the future.
involve some u19′s in super rugby and maybe by next season you’ll have a young but decent team. dont do it for you, do it for us, the poor Cats supporters who buy tickets week in and out and get nothing back for our money.
ludeke u keep this up and i promise soon rather then later someone is gonna do something that yoi’ll regret. dont make cats Rugby into SA soccer. we still have a little shrivelld pride.
