A/Did the Boks get their bonuses, or was it just a promise?
B/I’m sure that if the 2004 Boks got bonuses for the tri nation victory, The Administraters goT big ones too.
C/If he can’t afford a lawyer, get legal aid, it’s free. Mind you, with his bonus, surely he can afford one. Why not get Norman Arendse to defend him. He got a R92’000-00 overseas trip to Twickers from Brian.
D/At least, I didn’t have to pay my traffic fines to LABAT Industries, they also got that one wrong!!! LOL

One has to wonder about the point of all this. It’s pretty clear that BvR was no angel, but while the charge sheet lists occasions where BvR wasted money, is this farce any more than a waste of money?

As far as I understand, if any charges can be “proven”, SARU cannot take any action against BvR anyway through this enquiry.

If SARU indeed had substantative and meaningful evidence against BvR, why would they not either (a) lay criminal charges or (b) file a civil case? This would allow them to actually pursue some form of compensation.

If these charges are correct and he is found guilty then has to pay big time. A file should be handed over to the NPS.

However, SARU needs to look at its whole corporate governance structure. I cannot believe anyone can get away with this kind of kak for the length of time he did! It is shameful and as a proud South African I’m embarrased!

Ja keo – you single-handedly forced two “honest” members of the SARU executive to resign whle vehmently supporting van Rooyen.

Shame on you. Just as you claimed a specific employee of SAUR ruined your career and you financially (you said you even had to sell your car), you have turned around and ruined somebody else on a suspicion which turned out to possibly be false.
Granted Markies probably never sold his double-cab but the point is the same.
