HALF-TIME

39min – Scotland kick behind the Bok defence towards the tryline … it’s a race between Webster and Habana, and Webster gets there first. Try! Or is it? The TMO is consulted … Replays show Webster loses control of the ball briefly but seems to regather before it touches the ground. Another angle shows the ball did in fact touch the ground and the TMO rules a knock on.

32min – The Boks are awarded a penalty 60m out, but Monty fails to find touch. Bad mistake from the fullback.

29min – Fourie makes a darting run, but Andrews can’t control the ball and the Boks botch a great scoring opportunity.

18min – The Boks take it wide, but Smith knocks on. The Scots work their way into the Bok 22, they taking the game to the home side. The Boks force the turnover … Monty’s grubber goes into the Scotland half … the Boks get the ball back and go wide …. Burger’s long pass draws two defenders, but the next pass to Habana misses its mark and goes into touch.

15min – Scotland are again penalised for offsides and Monty makes them pay (3/3)
BOKS 9-5

11min TRY Ross sends a grubber through on the blindside and Webster scores in the corner. Paulse came up too flat and Bok defence was exposed. Paterson misses the conversion from the touchline (0/1).

7min – The Boks get another penalty and Monty kicks for touch. Smit’s throw goes over the head of Burger and the Boks lose the line-out. The Scots drive it up and are awarded a penalty at the breakdown. Paterson finds touch on the Bok 10m line.

3min – PENALTY The Boks take it wide to Smith, who beats a defender before being brought to ground. A Scottish hand knocks the ball loose into the hands of Smit, who doesn’t see Habana on his outside. But Scotland are penalised again … and Monty reaches 600 points in Test rugby. (2/2)
