The new mag looks really cool. It’s keeping up with the modern game. Putting Luke Watson on the cover was a really great move. Can you imagine how great of a controvercy it will be if Luke Watson is nominated for Player of the Year?

It is a brilliant layout, perhaps too intelligent for some muppets!

    More serious, an excellent magazine!

It keeps the flies away, in a constructive way. Keep it in the mag rack in the gents at work.

One thing that did come to light from the new SA rugby is why we have to have DSTV and I really don’t want to pay my TV license…

Much zippier front-cover and a far far better masthead!

    HUGE update!

If I win the jacket, be sure is 2XL. This tackler just isn’t upended by some wee pipsqueak!

  • 65.AndyMcNabFAN: Reply to this comment

Tackler, will you drag it through mud, and tear holes in it to suit all your other clothes?

Who actually wants a Springbok Jersey these days?

  • 67.AndyMcNabFAN: Reply to this comment

    I do!

  • 68.madeleinvn: Reply to this comment

no one in there right mind would wear a springbok jersey with the way the boks play these days

Already won the jacket, proud to wear it, but still need to give views on great new cover and layout odf SA rugby magazine though.

New cover looks “digital”, modern and trendy.Fits in with the everchanging brand of rugby played by the top nations other than SA are playing at present.Shows that magazine staff unlike the SA rugby chiefs are prepared to transform and move from their comfort zone by coming up with creative ideas, before they lose their cutting edge.

Maybe, just maybe the SA rugby chiefs have taken a leaf out of the new Sa rugby magazine concept by firing the CEO Johan Prinsloo.

I saw a petrol attendant wearing a BRAND new Springbok jersey, asked him if he is a proud supporter, got a blank look and then he said NO…some guy begged him to take it. My word what has happened us, wonder what the ciculation fig. of the mag is!!

I’ll be “the judge” for once and recommend the jacket prize go to comment number 33 sent in by rod, as it contains a bit of humour and worthwhile constructive criticism about the mag
