Springbok winger Breyton Paulse will play for the Vodacom Stormers next season.
This was confirmed by WP (Pty) Ltd, who said Paulse had been signed on a short-term contract up until the World Cup.
Paulse played 66 games for the Stormers from 1998 to 2005 (and another 67 games for WP) before joining French club Clermont.
He returned to South Africa earlier this year at the request of Jake White, only to be dropped midway through the Test season. However, he made two appearances off the bench at the end of the Vodacom Tri-Nations, scoring a crucial try against the Wallabies at Ellis Park.
The Stormers will also be boosted by the arrival of Griquas hooker Tiaan Liebenburg this week and the return of former Bok lock Selborne Boome. Both will play for WP against the Valke at Newlands on Saturday.
