Bakkies Botha, Bryan Habana and Wynand Olivier have all re-signed with the Bulls.
This follows reports in weekend newspapers that the trio had been offered contracts by the Sharks.
The Sharks were prepared to pay Botha R500,000 to play for them in the Vodacom Super 14, which would see the lock earn R2 million next season – the most by a South African rugby player. Olivier was offered a R950,000 contract and Habana R1.35 million.
However, all three signed with the Bulls on Monday for amounts much less than they were offered by the Sharks.
Habana and Olivier’s contracts will keep them at the union until 2009, while Botha’s extends to 2011.
