Fiery Springbok loose forward Pedrie Wannenburg will play for the Vodacom Blue Bulls in Saturday’s Absa Currie Cup final.
Wannenburg joins youngsters Derick Kuün and Pierre Spies in the back row after missing out on the semi-final win over Vodacom Western Province. His inclusion brings some much needed experience to the loose trio, as Kuün and Spies are yet to play in a Currie Cup final.
Lock Adriaan Fondse drops out of the team allowing Danie Rossouw to shift from flank into the second row. Fondse was a doubtful starter regardless of Wannenburg’s return due to a knee-ligament injury.
