Kobus Wiese believes Jake White could not have picked a better forward unit for Saturday’s test against England.
“It is the best from what he has on tour,” Wiese told Keo.co.za. “It has physical presence and the only criticism could be that he should have started with Juan Smith at No 8 and Danie Rossouw on the flank. But I think he has the right eight players on the field and that’s a positive.”
Wiese said the introduction of Floors could give the Bok pack a greater dimension and that it was an exciting selection.
“The pack physically showed they could stand up to the best England had in the first test. They know it was a test lost by the Boks and not won by England. They now have a second Saturday to get it right and finish the year with something.”
Wiese would not call a winner, saying only that it would be bloody close.
“You have two teams struggling and desperate to win. Now that the one team has the monkey off its back you could get a better exhibition of rugby on Saturday. But I still think it will be very close. There’s not much between these teams.”
