Spencer to quit Saints?

Spencer to quit Saints?

Carlos Spencer could be on his way to play for Agen in France.

Rumours that the New Zealander has had talks with Agen has started to surface, in light of Northampton’s [his current club] relegation struggle from the Premiership and the signing of flyhalf Barry Everitt from London Irish.

Relegation could Force Northampton to cut their wage bill, with Spencer being the top earner.

The 31-year-old has a year left on his contract and Saints chairman Keith Barwell is adamant Spencer is staying.

I love this dude, whenever he touches the ball something is bound to happen.

On a k@k day he is still better than any flyhalve in SA.

King Carlos IS a rugby legend! Remember the massive 29-9 hiding he almost single-handedly dished out to SA in the quarters of the last RWC?

I’m sure all those All Blacks that were supposedly coming to play for Boland are happy that they didn’t come.

Maybe they saw the warning signs.

Spencer should be bought by a south african union, he can play everynow and again, but his main role should be to nurture some rising flyhalves such as frans steyn

    Handbag,

    “On a kak day”.
Carlos had some kak days, let me assure you.

But, when the planets were in alignment, and his forwards did their work, he was the best entertainer I have ever seen on a rugby field.

    Campo second best.
    Jona an honourable mention.

The worst entertainers in world Rugby—-England.

But that is what I said Cane, on a bad day I still rate him ahead of any flyhalve in SA. I love King Carlos.

World rugby needs more people like him.
When it comes to Lomu, I still think he did more to world rugby than any other player, it is a shame that he didn’t have a longer career.

Love him or hate him he was something special.

Now here is a player for the Bulls to buy. If anyone in world rugby can spark the Bulls backline it is Carlos Spencer.

Stormers should have rather paid money for King Carlos and not Brent “Jack” Russel

My ideal day: Headlines in the Cape Argus

    Vd Merwe fired, Spencer hired

This guy would do wonders for Grant & Olivier as individuals. Imagine de Villiers linking up with this genius? Throw in the other ‘upredictables’ such as Russel and Aplon and you create a nighmare for opposition defences.

Just look what Tony Brown did for the Sharks backline.

agree Spencer would still outplay any current SA flyhalf playing today. Sort of player Bulls have being lacking for a long time.

Los,can you please make your clothing range a bit more affordable?

I’ve watched him plenty of times this year and believe me, he aint worth the money that Northampton are paying him.

It’s a well known fact that he is going to france next season and it has nothing to do with Northamptons relegation fears.
He is going for the cash and that is a fact.

You wouldn’t want him in Sa believe me

Well said paddysid, he has been as ***** a flyhalf you could hope to find in the Premiership this year.

The most gifted player to lay hands on a rugby ball.Array of skills boundless….

Too skillfull for a team like the Bulls, would pull off passes that would confuse the s#%t out of JP Nel and the rest of the Dinosaurs ladden with hatred and steriods…Banana kicks would be too much for the Bulls franchise including their fans…U would immediately hear the word “windgat” all over loftus.. Its not srrogance just skill…
