Giteau jets into SA
3 Jun 2007
Matt Giteau will arrive in South Africa a week ahead of the Wallabies for the June 16 Vodacom Tri Nations showdown with South Africa.
Giteau, who started the two test wins against Wales at scrumhalf, hurt his knee in Saturday’s 31-0 victory. However, he will definitely play against the Boks.
Wallabies coach John Connolly confirmed Giteau would fly to South Africa early, along with six other Wallabies.
The Australians play Fiji in a nothing international and George Gregan will start at scrumhalf. Gregan has been used as a second half replacement in the last two tests.
Fiji were crushed 57-8 by the Junior All Blacks at the weekend.

Why? Is he being interviewed for the Stormers coaching job?

What a nonsense post Keo! Give us the reason why they are flying in earlier and maybe it will be newsworthy.

I agree with Big Apple, I couldn’t give a stuff that he’s coming – the only reason I read the article was to find out WHY he was coming earlier.
