It was a spelling mistake. It should have read, a Sharks “whine” hamper.

how is “Sharks wine hamper” an oxymoron ?
10 Jul 2007, 13:11 pm
Correct, an oxymoron would be if you had said something like, “A Sharks Winners Hamper”.
Simon, what kind of wine can we win?
Box wine?
Or something more palatable to the taste?
Please advise.

Why a sharks wine hamper?

Simon
The proletariat obviously thinks that the prize is way beneath their usually high standards.
Sharks wine hamper indeed.
Pffft.

At least it’s not a Sharks Champagne hamper with all the corks hammered back in.

I’d reluctantly give shark-fin soup a try if my arm was twisted and my palm was crossed with Krugerrands, but Shark Wine?
Ewwww! How disgusting!

Captain, can always organise a picture drawing comp for them or maybe just a colouring in comp…what do you think?
PS The drawing can be connect the dot…as long as the numbers don’t go past 10 a few should get it right, maybe!
Have your say
