Well, well, shouldn’t we rather be ashamed about all the back stabbing and stuff that has happened since the Boks won the world cup.

when will it be in stores?

No way!! Can someone just buy me a copy and post it to me, I will deposit the money in your account!! any takers!I used to subscribe to FIFTEEN, nice magazines but not that good, I stopped eventually. Magazines took ages to come to Fiji, I got the 2003 RWC magazine the day the Boks got beaten in the quarterfinals. I was no pleasure reading about the mag after that crushing defeat.

You guys at SA Rugby are slack. I got my subscriber issue of RugbyWorld SA on the Tuesday after the final, 23 October. I could read it with the RWC vibe still pulsing in me. Now, when I read your magazine, it’ll be old news warmed up.

So there I was, watching the SABC news on Halloween night like the good citizen I am, when I saw the insert on Jake quitting.

Camera switched to a shot of Jake behind a glass panel in what looked like a room painted entirely in red.

I looked closer at the disembodied head floating next to Jake. It looked terribly familiar.

I looked closer. It was indeed Halloween. For it was the evil Keo, in a suit in the style of an undertaker.

    Henri_F,

Count how many pages of Rugby World actually focused on the World Cup final. Our entire issue looks at that game.

Simon, where can I get my hands on a copy in Edinburgh?

    Anybody?

I’m not sure if I could be really pumped at winning the WC if I was a guy like AW. I mean the guy did nothing and he knows it (and I feel peanuts for him after SA Rugby paid his salary for 3 years when he was hurt and the he buggers off to France)!

At least Ricky has played some big games for Jake over the past 3-4 years. My fav’s on the cover are Smittie,Habana and Thabo!!

I’m not sure there’s anywhere in the UK that stocks it though I could be wrong.

Im interested to read what mallet has to say about overhauling the RWC format. Its crucial that international rugby union displays the outstanding characteristics of the game every 4 years at the World Cup especially in Europe where the media attention is at its highest..
Unfortunately the opposite is the case . Every tournament in the Northern Hemisphere is notable for below average try scoring, conversations about the referee and defence driven matches.
Yay 4 the Boks and all that but the lack of quality games in France this year was woeful.
We need more well matched skillful sides meeting over the course of the cup.
We need to enable those teams with attacking flair and ability to exhibit those traits.
    Refereeing has to improve.
The only way to encourage attacking opportunity without weakening the defence is to speed up the action which places more pressure on athleticism at speed.
