Frederic Michalak is a model, a gay icon and music producer. But he wants you to remember him as a rugby player.

SA Rugby MagSA Rugby magazine visited the French flyhalf in Durban on the eve of the Super 14 to extract the man behind the hype.

“I’m here for the rugby and not for the party as some would have you believe,” he says. “I’ve always dreamt of playing Super Rugby and I’m not going to blow my opportunity.”

In the mag, Michalak reveals why he joined the Sharks, which Sharks players he rates and why this pre-season has been the toughest of his career. He also explains the meaning behind his tattoos, why he prefers children to adults and why he’s a big fan of hip hop.

    It was on that Brazilian Hooligan program. Gremio (a team) supporters have a special way of celebrating every time there team scores at home.

    The travelling support is always allocated seats/standing room at the bottom of the stand, with the Gremio firm above them.

    When Gremio score, they start a massive surge from the top of the stand, packed together like sardines, they form a tidal wave of bodies that plough into and splatter the poor souls below… wave after wave… its quite a site and being a Bullbelly, quite einaa

    Ek het ‘n paar vragies vir diesulkes in Slaapstad:

    1. Is die Rooi tapyt al gereel vir die stasie?
    2. Sal julle genoeg ys beskikbaar hê?
    3. Is die Stretch Limmo reeds reg en gepolish en die mini-bar in die Limmo gestock?
    4. Het julle die volle omvang van die konfooi reeds mooi beplan en staan die Verkeersdepartement op bystand?
    5. Hou asseblief die Papperrazzi weg, ek hoop julle veiligheidsmaatreels is skerp?
    6. Wie reel die Dinee na die wedstryd om ons behoorlik te vereer?

    Bod, is that what its called. Sheez, I watched it but didn’t pick up on the name..bloddy hell. Did you check the Green firm (the main oke is the kickboxer, and their was a tatoo artist) How sad and desperate those people looked.
