Danny dropped
6 Mar 2008
Danny Cipriani has been removed from the England starting line-up for Saturday’s match against Scotland.
Cipriani has been dropped due “inappropriate behaviour”, according to the Rugby Football Union. The 20-year-old was seen leaving a London nightclub just after midnight on Thursday morning.
Cipriani was selected to start at fullback, but Iain Balshaw has been recalled and Cipriani will not travel with the rest of the squad to Scotland.
England coach Brian Ashton told the BBC: “I have taken the decision regarding Danny and the matter is now closed. I will keep an open mind on selecting him for future games.”

A bit harsh me thinks. He is 20 for goodness sake. Let the oke joll. I bet a hammered Cipriani is still better than a sober Balshaw

He has too much talent and flair to play in the Poms backline in any case.

Cipriani is hugely talented and creative. If he started against us in the World Cup final, we might have had a tougher mission.
