Poms sack Cipriani

Danny Cipriani has been axed for England’s Six Nations match against Scotland after he was caught leaving a nightclub after midnight.

The 20 year old, who was set to make his first Test start at fullback, is replaced by Iain Balshaw, while Charlie Hodgson comes in on the bench.

The RFU have confirmed no further action will be taken against Cipriani. Wasps, though, have given Cipriani their backing and plan to pick him this weekend.

“We are hugely disappointed with the decision to withdraw Danny from the England team, and similarly disappointed for Danny himself,” said director of rugby Ian McGeechan

“Danny was pictured outside a nightclub last night, where he had gone in to see a friend. He did not stay inside the nightclub for any length of time and he was not drinking. He was at worst naive in his actions, but no more than that. Given the circumstances, a measured response to his actions was required and I think this is a very harsh decision.

“Danny will return to club training tomorrow, and as we are currently selecting the Wasps team to face Harlequins in the Guinness Premiership on Sunday, we will be considering Danny in our selection for that game.”

This is not the first time Cipriani has made headlines for the wrong reasons. It was recently revealed that a woman (Larissa Summers) with whom he had been engaged in a brief romp had started life as a man (formerly known as Darren Pratt).

    HiHiHi!!!

Watch Big Hit come here and predict a loss against Scotland because of Cipriani not playing.

For the firts time i understand BH`s problem.
England cannot beat an egg unless everything is perfect for them.
They must have available ALL their best players with no injuries and completely fit.The ref must make absolutely no mistake in favour of the opponents.Johnny wilkonson must be on song and the game must be played at Twickers.

This guy will regret not having any will power to stay away from the bright lights and booze…

How long will he now have to wait before he gets a call up to the England squad?
