Not so sure. Dave Mallett did very well Ikey’s in his 3 years at the helm. That said, I can’t help but stress the influence of two very good Bishops teams… 2005 and 2006. Though Bishops seldom actually finish ahead of all the Northern suburb schools (Paarl Boys and Paarl Gim, Paul Roos, Boland Landbou), the backlines they produce are sensational. Matt Turner scored about 30 tries for Bishops in 2006, and it looks as if he hasn’t lost his touch…

There is however a nice blend of experience it seems with a few of the older guys from previous eras still remaining, JJ, Crusty, Mayosi ect…
