I found when I was in SA the rand went a lot further than our $. If you fix the crime problem it would be great. BTW I didn’t see any remote evidence of crime during my time there though I went forewarned so was alert and sensible. But crime is increasingly becoming a problem in our cities and as the standard of living falls I believe it will worsen. Your country is incredibly beautiful though and the people were hospitable.

Hello, I’m from Toulon such as Romain, and I can tell you Matfield is doing a reel great job for our hometeam ! Last saturday we were enjoying his return back from injuries…we were playing a very important game against Agen (former fijian winger Caucaunibuca’s team) and we were in difficulties with our line-out. As Vic arrived, everything suddenly changed and then we stopped loosing our throws, and started catching Agen’s !
We’re on the final run with 6 matchs to go before the end of this 2nd div championship, and Mourad Boudjellal, our president promised us a even more better recruitment if we could reach top14.

Don’t be too rough with your beloved lock, he’s working hard as he knows we expect a lot from him…he is certainly not thinking of retirement yet, Oliver decided to stop, Gregan is on the way to stop very soon (i hope he’ll stay one more year if we reach top14), Mehrts will try one more season; and considering all of this you could thing Victor is in the same mood. Completely wrong !…I think winning the World Cup was such a challenge than after being world champion, he had to find another exciting goal to reach ! Mourad Boudjellal proposed him to be part of an exceptionnal adventure with most of the greatest names in the planet rugby, on top of that in a town where the stadium have an history, huge and noisy supporters , on the French Riviera, and with a comfortable income !

What would you do if you were him ? 90% sure you would have done the same choice ! Now I can easily understand he misses SA, the super14 and surely he wants to be part of the next boks rendez-vous for the tri-nations ! PDV should not blame him for what he’s doing, his experience is so much important for your national team that it would really be a great mistake to leave him on the bench !

BuckT – no I caddied for my brother Hugo – he played for WP and later made SA amateur goldf team. Recall those names, as he played with them.

My golf got stuck at playing 9 rounds starting with 4, never ever made it to the thirties…

As a bulls fan i was very dissapointed when victor left the bulls,but i cannot blame him when he heard who the new coach was ludicrous.Well done the bulls management for making all our best players leave,you lot are truly a real bunch of ******* arseholes.

Yeh, we all hope that SA will reach its’ true potential. However with or ruling party saying there’s ‘no crisi’ in Zim I have my doubts.
We all helped to make the country what it is, sad to see the rot that has set in.
I’m still hoping my kids will stay and I can retire there (somewhere in the Garden Route) but I think my kids are better off overseas.

#86 OCO: Crime is definatly a major concern and something which many feel the present governmnet has been too afraid to acknowledge. One really hopes and prays that there is enough savvy in SA to prevent another Zimbabwe. If SA were to go the Zimbabwe way then I know that there is no hope for the continent - never. I trust it wont come to that. Im off, bye all.

Yup, you need really good qualifications to get into SA. You can see this if you go to Greenpoint Stadium flea market on a weekend. Lots of skilled Nigerian, Seira leone and Senagalese there …….

#79 OCO: He was saying that to get in one needed to be highly skilled and that those skills had to be needed by the country - brain surgeons, heart surgeons, electricians etc. That is obviously going the formal route - you can always obtain free entry via Maybe your permanent residency makes it easier. Are you in the Philipines? I met some Fillipino chicks in Durban some time ago and they wer HOT.
