Wait a minute here. What Zondagh is saying that SA coaches and players haven't more sense than silly putty.
They have been involved in rugby for years and they still don't know how to play attractive winning rugby.
Even though other teams are showing them how.
If they don't know by now when will they learn?
If they cannot change a boring, losing style then what can they do, besides play boring, losing rugby?
Maybe that is the problem.

Why are we paying money to watch this bunch of very slow learners (sic)?
More intelligent staff may not have the skill, but at least we won't have to watch the dreck option taking that is dished up week after week.

What's wrong with doing the basic passing and catching drills at this level? #3 & #4 I agree 100% with you. How many of our scoring opportunities are lost because of poor passing or handling? The decision making is there, but that last pass going astray has cost us more tries than good defence.

SA teams best backline performances have come when coached by Australian coaches, our coaches all seem to think that the backs are really an extension of the pack.

Look at the sharks last year - backs coach = campese = tries.
Look at the Bulls last year - backs coach = Louden = tries.

Both of these guys have left. And where are those backlines now?

Please- to play attacking rugby, you need to be ballanced while running, can step off both feet, catch the ball and pass it accurately both to the left and right - just watch this weekend again the difference in the passing of e.g. the Brumbies and the SA teams - receiving player is most time jumping up to catch a high pass, knocking due to a low pass, and the worst - stooping reaching back to catch a ball behind his back.

But most SA coaches love the 'crach ball' - not much skill needed for that, heh?
