Injured still at training
19 May 2008
All 42 players selected for the Springbok training camp, including those who are injured, will be present when the camp begins tomorrow.
The four main injury concerns are scrumhalves Fourie du Preez and Heini Adams, flank Schalk Burger, and wing Tonderai Chavanga. Saru said in a statement that these players will still assemble to give them a chance to become familiar with management and the structures in place for the season.
Du Preez and Adams’s injuries are reported to be lengthy and this means only one fit No. 9, Ricky Januarie, will be able to train.

Oh, I’m sure they can find a decent scrumhalf (or 3 actually) within an hour’s drive of Somerset West.

It’s boring when our national rugby management are so well organised, thorough and transparent.
Hope Luke’s dad arrives at the training as an assistant Assistant coach or something.
Have your say
