Suresh Raina’s unbeaten 54 steered the Chennai Super Kings to a 7-wicket win over the Deccan Chargers and into the semi-finals of the IPL.

The Chargers’ total of 147-8 was never going to be enough after Albie Morkel had led the Kings’ attack by taking two wickets. Raina and MS Dhoni’s 55-run partnership was the backbone of the run-chase, and they cantered home with four balls to spare.
