Maties rout Raiders

Reigning club champs Stellenbosch thumped Raiders 65-11 on the opening day of the national competition.
Maties will face Boland champs Roses United on Tuesday in the Cup quarter-final. The men from Wellington came back after trailing 8-13 at the half to beat Nelspruit 32-20 on Sunday.
Convincing wins for College Rovers, Brakpan, Pukke, University of Johannesburg and Free State’s CUT Ixias booked these five clubs quarter-final berths. Tuks edged SK Walmers 31-28 to book their place in Tuesday’s play-offs.
