#134 Windhoek.Lager: Yes a very good point Windy – although I wouldnt say pure profit. There is a bit of development and time taken to get it into the web version – its more than a PDF sortof a Flash document.

But still way cheaper than printing and posting. So the price should be offered to us at a VERY attractive rate

Then perhaps an option to request the monthly poster which can be printed and posted out – possibly even have posters in a larger format and a bit cooler…

Sure I’ll consider subscribing if the price is right.

No printing costs.
No postage.
If it’s distributed as a pdf, the bloody ads will still be distributed and thus reach a wider audience.
The impact on the print copy will probably be minimal, so every subscription is nearly pure profit.

So, you’re in a position to pitch it at a very attractive price. VERY attractive.

Yup I’d definately be up for it! Used to subscribe to SA Rugby, but always got the mag 3 or 4 weeks late up in Sweden. Not worth the money payed. So an online mag would iron out all those problems for overseas readers!

#120 wooden spoon: It looks to me that the international market for the mag will gain the most value from this - they are paying R400+ for a year while here in SA the price is around R200. That's already a 50% saving to the customer, and they can read it the same day it comes out. There is a newer version of software that allows you to download the mag to your PC/laptop for off line viewing.

I would definitely subscribe to the cyber mag, go for it. #127 Bok fan: you just click on the page you wanna read and the page enlarges enough to read. I work outside SA for 6 months a year, this will be fantastic.

Recently moved to london so missing my SA rugby mag. Count me in if the print is larger than on the sample as I couldnt read much. The price would obviously be a factor as well.

#111 Roy: Would you still charge R23 for the online version? See my posts 120 and 121. Not that I'm cheap or anything, but as a matter of principle I wouldn't pay the same amount for a tangible magazine and an online scanned version where you have to sit and read it on a screen.

It surprises me SA rugby have survived so long without a website…All mags are online these days..
