Griffons hold on for glory
10 Oct 2008
The Griffons resisted a second-half surge from the Leopards to win 31-26 in the Absa Currie Cup First Division final at Olen Park .

#6 futurebillionaire: I think, and don’t quote me on this, that they play a sudden death play-off against the bottom team from the top division (Falcons).
It’s silly. It should just be a straight relegation/promotion to instil new faces, new ideas, new interest.

I wonder if the Leopards will make a fuss about Riaan Swanepoel having played for the Sharks in the currie cup aswell.
Good to see tsimba on his way back again.
