Baby Bulls, Sharkies victorious
25 Oct 2008
The Sharks downed WP 31-18 in the U19 Absa Currie Cup final while the Blue Bulls scored a last-minute try to beat Free State 20-18 in the U21 decider.
The juniors set the stage for the senior final between the Sharks and the Bulls, and despite the greasy conditions, both games were played at a frenetic pace. Free State looked to have secured silverware in the U21 final, but a scrum right on full time saw the defence fail and the Bulls shunt through for the equalising try. The conversion gave them the victory at 20-18.
The rain has held off and home fans are hoping the weather does not affect the main final.

With regards to your Fred being French comment. In Rotherham they used to say “Anybody North of Rotherham is a Scottish T### and anybody South is a French C###”. How to win friends and influence people…….

WTF? Souvigneer hunters or was it stollen?
North used to be longer BTW but they blew it up as it was causing grief with the beaches to the north (i.e. they were dissappearing).

Ek stem heeltemal saam. My worry is that a dry pitch suits the Sharks’ moffie type of rugby.

…and why would the Bulls prefer water?????
I am sure the Sharks are better swimmers, surfers, synchronized-pool-ballerina’s….

Oh. And Monday will be an even darker day for the market.
Watson will never play for the Boks again, because they will be called
The Assagais. He will be their captain.
ANC will split, and then split again.
Miss Theron will bag another Oscar.
PdV will say something remarkeably stupid.
Wors will continue to taste like wors only at twice the price.
And I’ll win the 2009 superbru.
Now who said you can’t predict the future!

If the junior Sharks can win trophies, why do they have to rob the Cheetahs of their senior players?
