Hore injury mars Kiwi win
1 Nov 2008
Andrew Hore has been ruled out of New Zealand’s Grand Slam tour after sustaining an ankle injury in the 19-14 victory over the Wallabies.
The All Blacks hooker went down with the injury early in the opening quarter of Saturday’s Test in Hong Kong. The New Zealand management confirmed Hore will not travel to the United Kingdom and Ireland and will be replaced in the starting side by Keven Mealamu.
Hawke’s Bay’s Hikawera Elliot has been called up to join Mealamu and Corey Flynn as New Zealand’s hooking options on tour.

NZ will miss that hairy Hore. He is one heck of a player. Plenty mongrel there.

#14 Hurricane:
Lets not lie, Elliots a pretty decent player to be able to call on. He’s line out throwing is exceptional, something the AB’s haven’t had in a while.
