Adi Jacobs will consult a specialist after sustaining a serious knee injury in South Africa’s win over Wales.
Jacobs was subbed after injuring his medial ligament in Saturday’s Test, while Bakkies Botha also left the field after taking a finger to the eye. Springbok team manager Arthob Petersen admitted both injuries looked serious, but a more accurate assessment will be attained following expert consultation.
Anthony Mackaiser told keo.co.za on Sunday Botha looks likely to recover from the ailment. The big second rower will undergo a few more tests as will Jacobs before their availability is made public on Monday.
