Kelleher helps Toulouse to victory
22 Nov 2008
Byron Kelleher snatched a win for the French champs over Bourgoin with a try in the last minute.
Kelleher, named the Player of the Year for his efforts in the Top 14 last season, produced another stellar performance to sneak an 18-12 win. However, it was not a great day for his halfback partner Freddie Michalak.
Despite showing good form in the Absa Currie Cup, since returning from South Africa Michalak has been struggling to re-live those efforts. He was sin-binned late in the game, but Kelleher still produced the match-winning effort.
Meanwhile, Stade Francais ended their run of three successive losses when they beat Castres 19-12.
