Frogs snub Freddie

Freddie Michalak has failed to make France’s 30-man Six Nations squad.

The former Sharks pivot returned to Toulouse last November, but has not impressed national coach Marc Lievermont sufficiently to warrant inclusion. Lionel Beauxis is the only specialist flyhalf named in the group.

The squad will be cut to 23 next week as the Tricolores gear up for their opening Six Nations match against Ireland on 7 February.
