Glenwood to defend Japanese crown

Shaun Erasmus has done an excellent job at Glenwood since coming on board.

The 2009 season will be in his second tenure as the 1st XV coach and he will be ably assisted by Rudi Dames, a former Falcons player, who will be in charge of the backline.

Glenwood won the schools challenge in Japan in 2008 and will be returning to defend their crown in 2009.

Former Scotland and Bok hooker, John Allan is also involved, lending a hand to the forward play of the school’s 1st XV.

Go Green Machine. Cant wait for schoolboy rugby to start. Especially focused on under 16a. Think Michaelhouse and college will be the most competition for the Glenwood boys. Good luck to them at the Paarl tournament where last years under 16a won all three games. Hope the firsts have enough time to recover from Japan for their first run of home games. Will be there on the sidelines supporting.

Shaun Erasmus was playing when I was at Glenwood, John Allan only did a few cameo’s at dinners… good to see him in the mix as a coach
