Rondebosch have employed former Springbok front ranker and hard man Robbie Kempson.

The former Bok prop will fill the void left by recently departed Shaun Povey (Australia) and Dave Wessels (technical assistant to the Stormers) for 2009.

Kempson is no stranger to the coaching set-up having worked with coaches such as Alan Solomons and Adrian Kennedy.

Former WP flyhalf Gareth Wright will be helping out with the backs and the kickers.

Sean Friedenthal has also been appointed as the school’s new director of rugby, having previous experience at Boland and the Lions.
