Queens: 150 years and counting
28 Jan 2009
Former Border U18 representative Clint Loest is now into his third season as Queens 1st XV head coach and will be assisted by Brent Janse van Rensburg, the school’s rugby pro.
Queens recently celebrated their 150th anniversary and will be eager to build on their success from last season.
Seven of the starting XV from 2008 are still at the school, so Queens believe they can beat traditional rivals Selborne (on reunion day), Dale and Grey (PE).
They will also take part in the Kearsney Easter Festival and the traditional Cape Schools Week in July.

New season. At Dale Reunion I’m sure they are playing Queens. I’d put my money on Dead Cats. Dale Amadoda.
