Sarries clout Kavaliers
28 Jan 2009
Two tries from Brad Barritt helped Saracens to a comfortable 52-20 win over Boland in Wellington.
Both sides selected weakened teams, while the hosts were always at a hiding to nothing due to their lack of depth. It proved to be so as Sarries scored eight tries to Boland’s two, even though the visitors had halfbacks Mickey Wilson and Gordon Ross yellow-carded at various stages of the match.
However, the Kavaliers did open the scoring through Godwin Damon and only trailed 14-10 heading into the shed, but from there on there was only one side in it.
Former Stormers loose-forward Justin Melck, who is on trial with Sarries, also scored a try to add to Barritt’s brace.
Saracens – Tries: Mickey Wilson, Justin Melck, Gordon Ross, Alex Walker, Andy Farrell (2), Brad Barritt (2). Conversions: Ross 4, Jackson 2
Boland - Tries: Godwin Damon, Luvo Sogidashe. Conversions: Jacquin Jansen (2). Penalties: Jansen, Lionel Cornelius.

Did anyone expect the Cavaliers to win or keep the score respectable?

Wawa wee wa. 52 points!!!!! Thats only 48 short of 100. I think the Kavaliers defence did well to keep them at 52. The Kavaliers defence must be the best in the world.
GO KAVALIERS!!
