If i recall correctly he had it changed officially to Tiger because thats all anybody ever called him so there was confusion. #8 H: He isn't and never has been a Maties student. He attended Western Province Rugby academy last year and when he did appear for Maties they didn't welcome him because they thought he was replacing their own players. Gagiano is an Italian name you tool. With a brain like that you're surely from Stellenbosch.

How the years roll by indeed. I used to baby sit Tiger at Mr Clarke’s house (the headmaster). He was very good friends with the College headmaster’s son before they moved to the UK so he spent some weekends there when the headmaster and his wife were off at functions. Was always incredibly gifted. His eldest brother (Rest In Peace) was a good friend and teammate of mine. He too was a phenomenal all round athlete – played wing and flank for the 1st team (and if I recall properly, held a couple of the junior 400m records).

My how the years go by, this boykie went to my High School. When I was in matric I used to hear about a certain Tiger Bax tearing up the rugby fields in the prep school and I remember thinking “what an odd name”. GO Tiger, show them that old College (St Andrews) spirit!
