Selborne aim for top 10
6 Mar 2009
Selborne College’s coaches all attended the Sharks coaching academy last year.
Former Griquas coach Swys de Bruin and ex-Bok Deon Kayser imparted their knowledge to Selborne duo Kevin Taylor and Max Norman, which will put them in good stead for the upcoming season.
The East London school is hoping to finish in the top 10 of the national rankings this year, but they will have to beat rivals Dale, Queens and Grey PE in order to do so.
Selborne will also take on mighty Grey Bloem, who won last year’s encounter between the two sides, and Affies from Pretoria. They will also take part in Kearsney’s Easter festival.
Don’t be surprised if Selborne claim a few upset wins this season.
