Sharpe looking for redemption
Western Force skipper Nathan Sharpe claims his pack are eager to dish out some built-up anger when they face the Chiefs in Hamilton on Friday.
Confidence in the Force camp is high following last week’s 25-16 bonus-point victory over the Brumbies in Canberra, but a second-half penalty try to the Brumbies, which was awarded when the Force’s scrum capitulated three times, has the Force tight five looking for redemption.
“Obviously to have a pushover is very disappointing, the guys are all taking that very personally,” said Sharpe. “It’s been a short turnaround but the slight alterations we have made are hopefully going to benefit us.
“It’s just one of those things that happened. It’s pretty technical, but at the end of the day they managed to get on top of us at that particular scrum on our line.”
