St John’s eye derby win

Former WP player and Valke coach Swys Joubert has once again been given the responsibility of coaching one of SA’s oldest schools.
Wynand Pretorius will also be called upon to make St John’s a competitive outfit in 2009.
What St John’s sometimes lack in precision they make up for with an abundance of pride and passion that has helped make the 1st XV a force to be reckoned with.
The St John’s Easter festival attracts 12 top schools every year. The hosts will not only be looking to put on a good showing at their festival but also finally end the dominance of their bitter rivals, St Stithians. Having lost the last few derby games, a victory against Saints will be top of their agenda for 2009.
