Sivi stays at home

Chiefs winger Sitiveni Sivivatu won’t join the table topping Chiefs on their tour of South Africa as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury.

The All Blacks flyer, who scored six tries in his last two games before suffering the injury against the Reds, is now aiming for a return in the home game against the Hurricanes on 9 May.

Coach Ian Foster had hoped to have Sivivatu services for next week’s match against the Stormers in Cape Town, the last of their three-match South African tour, but said his shoulder is not ready.
