Grant, Brits join Barbarians

Peter Grant and Schalk Brits have been selected for the Baa Baas’ squad to face England and Australia.

The Stormers pair will team up with former Bok tighthead BJ Botha as the trio of South Africans invited to tour. The squad assembles on 26 May to play matches on 30 May and 6 June.

Cardiff Blues coach Dai Young will look after the team along with Mike Catt, while Young is impressed with what he will work with.

‘The squad is full of quality players, including a number of RWC, Tri-Nations and Grand Slam winners and I’m expecting them to give a very good account of themselves when they play England and Australia,’ said Young.
