What worries me is what is happening with all the great Grey talent after school , if the Cheetahs can retain this talent then they should with all reason be doing so much better .

The victory was Grey’s 42 succesive victory home and away not home victory as the story states. Grey’s last defeat was against Paul Roos (11-16) in 2006 in Bloemfontein.

Cris Paarl Gym also lost to Monnas and Waterkloof in 2009.I can not see any schoolboy team beating Grey Bloem in 2009.Maybe only the Bulls!

According to a fixture list I have from my old school Grey Bloem play Grey PE in Bloem on 1 August, not next weekend as stated in the match report above. Grey PE play Paul Roos in PE next weekend – should be a great game.

#4 dirt-tracker: Thanks. The game between Grey/Paul Roos at Stellenbosch later in the season should be a humdinger! Paarl Gym does not seem to have a very good team this year having already lost to Bishops,Paul Roos and Boland Agriculture.

The last time Grey College lost was in August 2006 against Paul Roos in Stellenbosch.
Think the last loss in Bloem was against Affies, May 2005 against Affies 27-20.
Grey’s win percentage since 1966 is 93%. No school comes even close to that.
