Watch out for the Grey PE No. 7 & 8, Siyanda, in the near future. I saw them during Cape Schools, and they were magnificent. Didn’t Luke Watson and Mpho Mbiyozo also play in the same Grey PE side?

Dont really like the headline…one wonders if they beat them at rugby after they “smashed” them…..and why were they allowed to “smash” their visitors. I’m afraid journalism is at an all time low.
Sport is supposed to build character at this level…its nice to win and that is the South African way….but you should do it as gentlemen and that means not rubbing your opponents nose in it.
Well done Grey High…..fire your school magazine editor though!

agree boet – same sort of language a lot of bulls supporters like to bandy about.
another gripe – why does the headline say “grey pe”?
we have a grey high and a grey college – no need to say which city they are in, surely?

Ye the report on saschoolsports was written by the Tonbridge coach, sounds like a typical BIL supporters match report, moan moan moan, we are the greatest lalala. Here is the report written by the Grey editor by the way, the Keo report and title were taken from the epherald, not submitted by the Greu editor:
Grey Editor report:
The Grey 1st Team recorded a convincing win over Tonbridge from England on Tuesday, and despite coming off a lengthy holiday showed some intention and
played some exciting rugby to outscore the English side by seven tries to one.
The Grey side didn’t start particularly well and struggled to find any sort of rhythm in the opening 20 minutes. Despite playing with good intensity, a few
unnecessary mistakes and incorrect decisions prevented the home side from stamping their authority early on in the game. Tonbridge seemed to be the more
settled of the teams having beaten St Andrews a few days prior to our game. They were the first to score through an intercept try and this certainly put Grey
under early unnecessary pressure. However, as has become customary with this team, Grey quickly hit back through a well worked try by Siya Kolisi. Grey
continued to apply the pressure, and were rewarded with another try through Phaphama Hoyi to take the half time score to 14 – 10 in Grey’s favour.
In the second half saw the Grey side dominate all facets of the game, and had superior possession and territory. Grey really turned it on and played some superb
rugby with numerous team tries being scored that were started well in our own half. Siya Kolisi scored his second try shortly after half time following some good
work by our back division. Grey continued to apply pressure and were rewarded with 2 more tries by Voughan Casling and Michael van Vuuren. With Grey now
in rampant mood, Luke Daniel’s and Siyanda Mangaliso also crossed for tries, resulting in a convincing 43 – 13 win, and by 7 tries to 1. Luke Daniels contributed
13 points through a try and 4 conversions.
It was a good start of the term, and the match provided Grey with much needed match practice following a lengthy break and ahead of a tough term of rugby.
