Griquas made it three wins out of three in the Currie Cup when they thrashed the Boland Kavaliers 80-7.
Dawie Theron’s side scored 12 tries, with Rohan Kitshoff, Barry Geel and Bjorn Basson all grabbing a double.
Griquas’ dominated the set phases and scored their first try through Jonathan Mokuena in the fifth minute. And when Rohan Kitshoff scored to make it 12-0 at the end of the first quarter, their confidence grew.
The hosts led 33-0 at half-time and scored another seven tries after the break to equal their biggest-ever winning margin of 73 points in a Currie Cup match (87-14 vs Border in 1998).

Pointless having a team like Boland in the top flight. It’s sick. They should be playing in the second division.
