Duane debuts for Province

Duane Vermeulen will make his first appearance of the Currie Cup when he runs out for the WP team to play the Leopards.

Vermeulen will make his debut for Western Province after arriving in the Cape this year and performing admirably in a disastrous Stormers campaign. He has been out with a hand injury, but will return to Newlands this Friday in place of Pieter Louw.

Up-front Hilton Lobberts makes an appearance in the second row, with Chris Jack on the bench. JD Moller also starts at loosehead.

Joe Pietersen makes a comeback at No 15, while promising Conrad Hoffman gets a rare start at scrumhalf.
